The Las Vegas Natural History Museum opened in 1991 and has been educating the community on more than just Nevada’s history for 30 years. The nine exhibits here include prehistoric creatures like dinosaurs, fossils, ancient Egypt, the oceans, Africa, mammals, wildlife native to Nevada, and geology.

This museum is an educational and interactive experience for kids, history buffs, and animal enthusiasts. Wander through the exhibits featuring replicas of dinosaurs, mummies, live sharks, and stingrays, a wide variety of animals, plants, real prehistoric fossils from the Ice Age, and natural minerals. In addition to exploring the exhibits, watch shark feedings, owl pellet dissections, and other science-based demonstrations.
